Wife and Wine

 WIFE AND WINE

Two graces
And Man's eternal gift to choose
Secondment absent
But a fair faithful choice to do.

Such a grace dost He, our Mighty beset a man
To lust lustfully and last long
Such to his cure,
The pain and pleasures of life.

Yet to some,
A traded pair
Succumbed and unbridled in force exquisite
By the sombre soul needing sombre rest.
